ZyXEL and ARIA announce certification of the equipment ZyXEL STB1001H/1001S

Moscow, on May 28, 2009 — ZyXEL and ARIA Companies announce certification of receivers of IP television of ZyXEL STB1001H/1001S as a part of the IPTV complex developed by ARIA company.

The rich functionality and high speed of operation of the ANT Galio browser which is built in STB ZyXEL simplified their integration with the hardware and software system IPTV and development of new services and services. Support of the QualiCTV technology implemented in STB ZyXEL and the hardware and software system IPTV provides repeated transfer of the lost multicastes packets that allows to increase considerably quality of video even on problem DSL lines for increase in loyalty of subscribers, expansion of a subscriber base and ensuring stable consumption growth of services of IPTV.

Receivers of IP television of ZyXEL STB-1001S and STB-1001H implement high-quality program reception of the standard and high definition (HDTV), a 24-bit audio-and video path and widespread and perspective standards of video transmission — MPEG2, MPEG4 Part. 10 (AVC/H.264). Via set of the STB-1001H interfaces distinguishes only HDMI port, arrangement of connectors and program reception with the permission 720p, 1080i at a speed up to 20 Mbps. For acceptance of television programs with DVD quality both receivers need the channel with capacity of only 1-2 Mbps. For navigation on the Internet and managements of services the normal or wireless USB keyboard can be used.

About the IPTV complex

Among the main services implemented by the IPTV complex — broadcast of TV and video channels of standard and high definition, the electronic program schedule, video on demand (a video hire shop of license movies), the network personal videorecorder (record of desirable TV program) and the postponed viewing (access to archive of telecasts).
