Privilege Guard 3.0

The version of Privilege Guard 3.0 will provide increase in the rights at applications launch and ikhkontrol, the notification of users, audit and the comprehensive reporting under all Windows systems.

Except other, for PrivilegeGuard 3.0 two add-on modules which will provide the reporting on an osnoveserver of the Microsoft SQL Server and integration with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) are provided.

The module Enterprise Reporting Pack is based on Windows Eventforwardingi SQL the server and has a big set of the preset templates of panels and reports which display the raised rights at applications launch detected started and the blocked applications. Use of SQL Reporting Services allows to get secure access to reports and panels through the web browser.

Integration with McAfee ePO allows to provide transparency, to increase efficiency and reliability of corporate systems of security. The client of Privilege Guard it is possible to develop directly from ePO.

Privilege Guard 3.5

Privilege Guard 3.5 has a number of features which will simplify deployment and scaling of a flexible management system privileges and user rights, with unique features for convenience of end users and the reporting of the corporate level.

Features of Privilege Guard of version 3.5:

• New Health Dashboard panel. The corporate reporting includes now the new Health Dashboard panel which displays all users having exclusive access at the enterprise. The trend analysis helps to monitor transition from the privileged user to work on the principle of "the smallest privileges" with a possibility of fast switching between daily, weekly, monthly or annual reports.
• Authentication using smart cards. Version 3.5 supports two-factor authentication using smart cards now and is seamlessly integrated with the existing infrastructure. This new feature also allows to configure forced politicians depending on authentication.
• Support of COM of an application class. Privilege Guard is the first solution for management of privileges which provides the granulated control of the classes COM and a number of the templates designed to simplify creation the politician includes. Windows uses COM for more than 120 tasks requiring special privileges including:
  • installation and charging of devices
  • setup of language, region and screen
  • setup of network, share and synchronization
  • installation of updates and language patches
  • setup of files, folders and disks
  • installation of third-party software

• New WMI filter. Use of the new WMI filter allows to improve all possible data from Windows Management Instrumentation in Privilege Guard 3.5 and to build politicians taking into account the broadest spectrum of parameters, including the installed operating system, the hardware and applications.
• Deeper audit and reporting. Except already built-in integration with McAfee ePO, in the new version of Privilege Guard 3.5 administrators will be able to create the scripts for integration with third-party reporting systems.

Privilege Guard 3.6

• Authorization by the principle "request/answer" for safety of the user and customizability – provides remote authorization of the application through the safe 8-unit code of "request/answer" which allows once, is temporary on several sessions or for long time to increase the privileges of separate applications.
• Control of the corporate level for Windows 8 Store Apps – provides creation of white and black lists of applications, accounting of downloadings and installations of applications with Windows Store that in turn will provide access control of users to applications on corporate computers, notebooks and tablets based on Windows 8.
• Management of privileges, based on a loading source – provides monitoring and control of applications on the basis of a loading source, the politician allows to configure intellectual white and black lists for automatic application.
• The expanded reporting – a big variety of reports, panels and widgets consolidate data on applications, processes, users, finishing points and politicians, allowing to see a picture in general and to be guided quickly in parts.
• Privilege Guard Activity Viewer for the deep analysis is a new solution for diagnostics, search and fault recovery. Constructed on Windows Management Information (WMI), it provides the detailed analysis of the started applications and applied the politician on each of corporate endpoints.
• Privileged Account Management for warning of cracking of accounts – the politician toughens protection against counterfeit accounts and creation of uncontrolled exclusive accounts using new special.
• A set of templates and the master for import of events and simplification of process of creation the politician – simplification of creation of policy for separate cases and mass deployments using various templates. Besides, the new master of import of events integrated directly into the management console allows to use at creation and editing the politician directly results of audit.
