2025: Opening access to part of the features
2GIS opened free access to part of the functions of the Geometric business service. Now the companies on the 2GIS maps can find out how users find them in the city, when and for what requests, what other services they are interested in. Advertisers, in turn, will receive expanded capabilities for analyzing similar organizations. This was announced by 2GIS on June 9, 2025.
Geometric is integrated into the personal account of companies in 2GIS and allows businesses to study the target audience based on impersonal data on user interaction with maps. Now its capabilities are available to organizations from more than 30 industries - whether they advertise on maps or not.
With the help of Geometer, companies can analyze at what time and from which areas of the city users find them on the map. The service shows where the audience comes from - local residents or guests of the city - and also helps to understand the ratio of men and women among visitors, their interests, as well as targeted actions with a card. This data helps businesses better understand their audience and, for example, choose locations for outdoor advertising, plan local promotions and other marketing activities.
The Geometric features listed above are available for free. Additional functions are provided for advertisers: now they can not only analyze the target audience, but also study how it is looking for other companies from similar areas of business. Up to ten organizations are available for comparison - the selection can be formed independently taking into account the location, scope of activity or business model. This allows you to better understand the interests of customers, assess the intersection of audiences and identify growth points, including when planning advertising campaigns.
