2025: Presentation of Design Documentation Method
Artezio on June 24, 2025 presented a methodology for creating design documentation that combines the work of system analysts with the capabilities of artificial intelligence. The solution allows you to create technical documentation up to 10 times faster than traditional methods while maintaining high quality and completeness of requirements.
The project documentation package includes the Vision and Scope document, a description of the functionality of the future system and business needs, user stories, interface layouts, a presentation of the solution for the internal team and external investor, a complete project knowledge base. The quality of these documents determines the success of all software development, since they determine what exactly programmers should create.
Traditionally, the creation of such documentation takes weeks or months of work of analysts. The Artezio methodology reduces this process to a few days while maintaining quality and completeness of requirements.
The methodology involves up to three moderated meetings with the customer: discussing the current situation, forming a vision of the future system and defining project restrictions. Meetings are held in the format of recorded online calls, during which more than 100 key issues are discussed.
A year and a half ago, we launched the development of this solution and have been improving the methodology for customers from various industries for more than six months, "said Denis Kharchenko, Director of Advanced Technology Development at Artezio. - Artificial intelligence speeds up the process, but control always rests with leading analysts. |
The AI-based application analyzes meeting records and automatically creates the first version of the Project Vision and Boundaries document. Then analysts iteratively refine the material, creating user stories, interface layouts and presentation materials.
To implement the methodology, Artezio has developed its own set of tools, which includes meeting processing tools, a database with accumulated knowledge, a web-based document collaboration system and modules for checking the consistency of requirements and their completeness. The system can be deployed locally or in the cloud, depending on the customer's security requirements.
The timing of IT projects is constantly decreasing. High-quality preparation of requirements at an early stage avoids expensive improvements and can give serious competitive advantages, - said Denis Kharchenko. |
The methodology is adapted to customer standards and supports compliance with Russian regulatory requirements and GOSTs. The system includes comprehensive verification mechanisms that ensure the integrity and completeness of requirements.
Artezio has already been tested on a number of projects and will develop as a separate service within the framework of design work, as well as as an independent software product or subscription in the future.
