Hybrid has developed a Smart List tool for effective targeting through automatic selection of venues for display. The company announced this on March 28, 2025.

With its help, users will be able to receive a personalized list of sites and applications in real time to optimize and display the advertising campaign.

Smart List technology provides two scenarios for selecting sites for targeted advertising. Selection by popular venues focuses on selecting the most visited resources among the target audience. It analyzes the audience over the past few days and determines which sites and apps it has visited. After analysis, the most popular sites are selected, where the largest number of auctions with the participation of this audience is recorded. As a result, the advertiser receives a list of sites and applications for effective targeting.

The selection of resources by affinity is focused on finding the most relevant sites with high engagement of the target audience. It also analyzes audiences over the past few days and determines what resources it has visited. Then the number of auctions with the participation of the target audience is compared with the total number of users of these sites and the affinity coefficient is calculated: the higher the indicator, the more relevant the resource is for targeting. At the end, an optimal list of sites and applications is formed, taking into account affinitivity.

Depending on the marketing strategy, the advertiser can choose one of two approaches: focus on popular sites with high traffic or on resources with a high concentration of relevant audiences. This flexible mechanism allows you to increase the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and more accurately reach target users.

Prior to the introduction of the Smart List, users manually collected individual White Lists for each audience or advertising campaign. Internal studies have shown that this solution is on average 30% more efficient and much faster than manual site selection.

Smart List works subject to the installation of SmartPixel, which allows you to analyze users who have come to the advertiser's website.
