Combining functions
Since September 30, 2025, the Guardian personal digital defender from SberMobile has combined a number of functions: forwarding suspicious calls to voicemail, SOS notification of the risk of fraud during a conversation, a secretary-answering machine, as well as insurance of funds in Sber's accounts. Restarting the service significantly increased the filtration barrier and made protection against telephone fraudsters comprehensive and more effective.
The Guardian service protects against fraudulent and spam calls: such calls are redirected to an AI assistant who conducts a dialogue with attackers instead of a client. After that, the subscriber can listen to the recording or read the text transcript in the mobile application or personal account on the site. The service also includes insurance of funds in client accounts in Sberbank. If fraudsters manage to deceive the client, he can apply for a refund up to 1,000,000 rubles.
In addition, now the "Guardian" for SberMobile subscribers includes a previously separate function "Aura." This is an option based on the work of artificial intelligence, which, by trigger words, recognizes social engineering techniques in a conversation and notifies the subscriber with a special signal.
Also in the updated "Guardian" there was a smart assistant "Assistant," which accepts incoming calls if the subscriber is out of range of the network or does not want to answer. The service allows you not to approach the phone to unfamiliar numbers, but at the same time not to miss important calls.
In your personal account, subscribers can customize the system according to their preferences. The Guardian service can be turned on and off completely and partially, for example, by abandoning the Antispam or Aura functionality. However, if the "Guardian" system is deactivated, the insurance of funds automatically ceases.

The service for protecting SberMobile users from fraudsters has three levels of protection.

During the call, thanks to smart algorithms, "The Guardian" redirects calls from scammers to smart voicemail. All conversations are recorded and decrypted, remaining available in the app for five days.

SberStrakhovanie and SberMobile have launched a free Guardian service to protect subscribers using Sber's services. The system blocks fraudulent calls, redirects spam calls to smart voice mail, and also provides insurance protection for money on subscribers' cards and accounts. Sberbank announced this on August 2, 2024.
The Guardian service includes software and insurance components and has three levels of protection. At the first level, the system filters malicious calls and blocks calls from scammers even before the first beep. On the second, the service automatically detects unwanted calls and redirects them to Antispam's smart voice mail. Records of conversations and their text transcripts are stored in the operator's application in the "Security" section for five days. The third level allows you to compensate for damage if attackers gained access to bank accounts.
The insurance component is included only if the call from the attackers came to the client's number, which is tied as the main one in SberBank Online, and was not blocked by the software component. The insurance program applies to a wide list of risks: unauthorized write-offs, financial losses due to theft of personal data, telephone and Internet fraud, including payment on double sites and independent transfer of money according to the details of cybercriminals.
For the protection to take effect, the subscriber must specify his SberMobile number as the main one in the SberBank Online application. When an insured event occurs, you need to go to the "Security" section in the SberMobile application, select the "Refund" item from the menu and fill out the form.
