Citizens' appeals - the module on the EMC Documentum 6.7 SP2 platform.

On September 19, 2014 CORUS Consulting Group announced release on the market of a new solution – system module of electronic document management of Citizens appeal.

"Citizens' appeals" are provided by a set of services for process automation:

  • creation and document registration,
  • consideration of documents (including preliminary consideration),
  • approval and signing of documents,
  • setting and control of documents,
  • issue of instructions and control of their execution,
  • storage and document retrieval.

Within the module the functionality on work with the citizens' appeals, outgoing documents (answers and notifications to applicants, requests in other public authorities) entering and internal documents is implemented (memos), it allows to monitor all correspondence when processing addresses. A number of the statistic reports including provided in the Russian President Administration is developed.

The functionality of the module helps to create and approve drafts of diagrams of reception of citizens, to register personal acceptance of applicants. The module "Citizens' appeals" includes possibilities of execution of tasks of documents in the substitution mode. One more useful and evident function is graphical representation of a document history.

The module "Citizens' appeals" provides a user-friendly interface of the administrator with abilities to manage reference books, settings of right of access and completion dates of tasks depending on type of a task, a document holotype and also use of the calendar or working days.

As a part of the module ample opportunities of integration with MEDO (receiving citizens' appeals, sending answers on an incoming request, formation and sending notifications (tickets) on change of the status of the document), the Electronic Reception portal (processing of the appeals sent through "An electronic reception", providing information on the course of consideration of the address), the portal of the Russian President (obtaining the addresses created on the portal of the Russian President, providing information on the course of consideration of the address), Microsoft Exchange (sending notifications to users about the arrived tasks, obtaining the addresses transmitted via e-mail) and Microsoft Active Directory.

The new solution is implemented on the EMC Documentum 6.7 platform.

The solution has a broad spectrum of additional benefits, such as support of an unlimited number of users, an opportunity for work in different browsers, scalability, low cost and also a user-friendly and evident interface.

The auxiliary portal "Electronic Reception" is developed for convenience of interaction of citizens with public authorities during creation of the module "Citizens' appeals". On the portal the reference information about requirements to the address in writing or a form of an electronic document, terms of consideration of addresses, the diagram of reception of citizens on private matters, etc. is provided. The portal gives an opportunity to register in acceptance to the head, to send the written address and to obtain information on the course of consideration of the address.
