2021: Release of the beta version of ERP WE with English code

On September 14, 2021, 1C announced that the delivery of software products:

• 2900002097511 1С:ERP WE Beta. Electronic delivery
• 1CERP 2900002097528 : WE Beta.NFR. Electronic delivery

is supplemented by a beta version of ERP WE with code in English. The configuration with English code is accompanied by a demonstration base. Thus, two separate configurations and two demobilization ERP WE beta versions containing code in Russian and English, respectively, are simultaneously included in the supply of products. The other configuration of these products remains unchanged.

The functionality of the ERP WE configurations with Russian and English code is completely identical. Both configurations include interfaces in several languages, including Russian and English. It is planned that in the future the delivery of products will include synchronized versions of the configuration with the code in Russian and English. The English code configuration has trial status, it temporarily does not support the upload/download of the budgeting model and the financial accounting model and the exchange of data using Data Conversion 2.0 technology.

Users of the ERP WE beta configuration will be able to get a prepared configuration with code in English through partners, as well as in the 1C: Update Programs service of the 1C: ITS portal.

As a basis for preparing the configuration of the ERP WE beta version with code in English, the configuration of the ERP WE beta version 2.5.7.180 was taken.

According to 1C as of mid-September 2021, the order, price and terms of sales of software products containing the ERP WE configuration do not change.

The release of the final version is planned at the end of 2021.

2019: Beta 1C: ERP World Edition

On October 15, 2019, 1C announced the release of a beta version of the 1C: ERP WE application solution (World Edition - working title, can be specified when releasing the final version of the product) in order to minimize the project labor costs for adapting the application of 1C: ERP Enterprise Management. As the basis for preparing the beta version of the configuration "1C: ERP WE," the typical Russian configuration "1C: ERP Enterprise Management" edition 2.5.3 was taken.

According to the developer, in the beta version of the 1C: ERP World Edition application solution, the following were excluded:

• Regulated subsystem supporting and account Accounting reporting under RAS, tax accounting and reporting in accordance with the legislation. RUSSIAN FEDERATION For accounting in "1C: ERP WE" it is recommended to use the accounting subsystem by (IFRS or localized, national solutions).
• Payroll and personnel accounting subsystem. For payroll and HR accounting, it is recommended that users of "1C: ERP WE" use localized solutions.
• Some other subsystems (libraries) specific to the Russian Federation and not in demand outside the Russian Federation: the electronic document management library with counterparties through special operators (BED), the integration library with state information systems (GoSIS), the Internet user support library (BIP), some components of the library of standard BSP subsystems (Monting Center, Electronic Signature, Calendar Address, Classification Banks.
• Obsolete (present for compatibility) versions of functionality from previous editions: batch accounting 2.1, production 2.1, accounting OS and NMA 2.2
• Other functionality relevant only for the Russian Federation: printed forms relevant only for the Russian Federation (Torg-12, Invoice, OS-6, etc.)
• Temporarily excluded (until requirements are clarified): transfer and acceptance for processing, transfer and acceptance for commission, transfer of materials to operation, leasing of fixed assets.

Delocalized functionality:

• Regulatory and reference information: accounting policies and accounting settings, organizations, counterparties, individuals, nomenclature, contracts, cash registers, bank accounts, income and expenditure items, business lines.
• Value added tax: setting VAT rates, selecting rates, calculating amounts in documents, accounting for incoming VAT during purchase.

According to the data for October 2019, an interface in one of the languages ​ ​ can be assigned to a specific user of the system: Russian, English, Polish, Italian.

Development directions:

• It is planned to adapt systematically to the peculiarities of doing business and organizing accounting outside the Russian Federation (development of IFRS, etc.)
• Translates configuration code and objects into English.

1C proposes to consider the 1C: ERP WE application solution for:

• Preparation of international ERP - projects in countries without official localization "1C: ERP Enterprise Management"
• Promising automation of the operational control loop in conjunction with localized 1C: ZUP and 1C: Accounting (it is planned to develop typical integration mechanisms in the future)
• Preparation of templates for the unified system of operational management of companies with foreign branches
• Development of localizations, 1C-Collaborative solutions/enhancements and partner products for all countries.

The release of the final version is planned in 2020. When moving to the final version, the accumulated data of the beta information databases will be saved. It is planned to allow upgrade according to the standard scheme from localized versions of "1C: ERP Enterprise Management" to "1C: ERP WE" and from "1C: ERP WE" to localized versions of "1C: ERP Enterprise Management."
