For conducting management accounting in beauty shops, image studios, sunbeds the 1C: Automation company (1C: Franchisee, Moscow) offers the software product "1C: Automation. Beauty shop 8.2", developed on the 1C: Enterprise 8.2 platform.
Functionality of the program allows to provide transparency of cash flow and also materials and goods. In the application solution the basic principles of management concepts by customer relations and suppliers - CRM and SRM are implemented. An optimal set of managerial tools for decision making is provided.
The software product can also be used in other spheres of small business connected with rendering household services and prerecording of clients on acceptance.
The main users of the program are administrators of salon. The simple and user-friendly interface "A workplace of the administrator" allows to enter data on clients, to register prerecording on acceptance to masters of salon and also the facts of rendering services and sales of goods. Besides, using the program the administrator can plan individual working schedules of masters and register various schemes of payment of their work. The special subsystem of the application solution is intended for material accounting and goods. The management of salon using reports can analyze efficiency of masters, cash flow for the period and profitability of salon in general.

Automation premises
On a decision instant about automation in salon for accounting of clients, the rendered services and work of masters only spreadsheets and records on paper were used. It complicated work of administrators of salon, slowed down the speed of their work and also did not allow to increase customer service quality. Besides, the owner of salon often was in traveling, and the existing automation system did not allow it to obtain necessary information on activity of salon in the mode of remote access.
For the solution of the existing tasks the program for automation of operational accounting of activity providing a system information access via the Internet was required for salon of massage. In addition the program had to be rather simple not to cause difficulties in administrators of salon upon transition to work with it from the means of accounting accepted earlier.

This software product is developed on the 1C: Enterprise 8.2 platform which allows to work with an information system not only on a local network, but also via the Internet, in the "thin client" and "web client" modes. In this case for the owner of salon relevant was a work in the web client mode. This mode does not require installation of any software and allows to get access to the Web server on which information base is published, using the normal browser - Windows Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or Safari.
Operational processing of the customer order
Earlier at record of the client by phone the administrator tried to remember or find in the workbook and spreadsheets data on his personal master, on services which the client usually orders, and other information. Such style of work did not allow to service clients with high quality, to timely offer them additional services and goods.
After automation project completion the administrator uses only "A workplace of the administrator" which interface provides quick access to all necessary information. The interface of a workplace can be configured according to needs of the user.
The procedure of prerecording of clients became much simpler and more evident. For record of the client it is necessary to select a free interval of time of the master on "The diagram of prerecording", and then to enter the document "Prerecording". If the client did not use services of salon earlier, then its data should be entered into the reference book "Clients".
The program allows to appoint discounts for certain goods or services, to set discounts for the set clients. Action of discounts can be limited to some period of an advertizing campaign.
Calculation of payment of work of masters
Using the program it is possible to make the individual working schedule for each master. For setup of the working schedule of masters taking into account lunch breaks "The calendar of work of masters" is used. Data on all salaries and also on schemes of awarding, for example for development, for sales of goods and the rendered services, are entered into the reference book "Schemes of Compensation".
The color scheme gives the chance to improve visual acceptability of loading of masters at the big number of staff of specialists.
Accounting of supplies and tools
The salon considers the tools and materials issued to masters for work by appointment to each master of own "virtual" warehouse. The materials issued to the master move to the corresponding warehouse, and in process of expenditure - are written off. It allows to estimate a remaining balance of materials at each master and also to analyze dynamics of their expenditure.
Cost accounting
Distribution of fixed costs to the sold services is executed at the end of the month using the document "Distribution". Variable costs, in particular material cost, are written off for the corresponding services in consumption rates of materials which are stored in information base.
Thus, the owner of salon can control a deposit of different costs to cost value of services and take corrective actions for increase in profit of salon.

As a result of automation work of administrators of salon became more organized and convenient. Time necessary for data retrieval about the called client, decreased several times.
