For October, 2017 the 7-port industrial gigabit Ethernet switch of PT735919 Profiplus is characterized by existence of seven gigabit ports and the small sizes. When developing this switch, in addition to directly functions of commutation, the main attention was paid to performance and data protection by their transfer on network and protection of the switch against unauthorized access.

The switch is optimal for use in the scopes providing need of the high level of availability such as industrial automation, a management system and monitoring of traffic, the power engineering specialist. Use of this switch as a part of a wireless LAN and video surveillance systems allows to implement a possibility of giving of an electric power supply on terminal units on PoE technology + according to the IEEE 803.3at standard with power up to 30 W on the port, provided for four connections 10/100/1000Base-T.

PT735919 Profiplus is equipped with two gigabit komboporta with the SFP slot 10/100/1000T or 100/1000X. These ports provide a possibility of creation of the reserve uplink-channel based on copper or optical fiber cables. In case of failure in the line the ring protocol provides continuous availability. Power supply of the switch can be performed on Power-over-Ethernet technology by means of RJ-45 uplink-port that increases its availability at failure in a regular power supply diagram.

Two input/output ports allow to connect sensors and actuators and also to integrate the switch into the existing alarm system. The operating system of the switch, built in software and configuration data are stored on the SD card. In need of replacement of the switch the new device is automatically configured according to the settings saved on the card at its connection that reduces the recovery time of operability of network to a minimum.

Industrial 10-port Ethernet switches of PT735869-XX-X Profiplus are certified for operation on railway transport, certified on compliance to the EN 50121-4:2006 standards (more strict requirements of EMS for resistance to electromagnetic interferences) and to EN 50125-3:2003 (resistance to temperature, climatic influences, vibration and pushes). Thus, devices can be installed in one meter from railroad tracks.

Additional certification on compliance to the IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 standards allows to use this switch in networks of the data which are operated on objects of the power industry.

As of October, 2017 gigabit switches of Profiplus have 1000Base-X ports for optical fiber that allows to use them during creation of a fiber optic ring with reservation. Reservation is executed due to use of the mechanism which, in case of failure, recovers network functioning of Ethernet for milliseconds.

Switches are also offered performed by with Power-over-Ethernet support. Devices are expected work in extremely adverse external conditions, at the same time stable work in close proximity to railroad tracks is guaranteed.
