According to the statement of representatives of developer company, ABBYY Comparator for April 14, 2015 there is a first program in the Russian market allowing to compare electronic and paper documents up to standard.

Comparison of paper documents is implemented in ABBYY Comparator by means of the built-in technology of optical recognition of texts ABBYY OCR.

The program allows to compare two documents of any combination of the supported formats as text (for example, *.docx, *.rtf), and graphic (*.pdf, *.jpg, *.tif, etc.), and works with texts in the Russian and English languages. The report on distinctions can be saved in the form of the table in the Word format or the PDF document with comments in places of changes.

The company offers tools of the developer – technologies of comparison of documents in different formats can be built in the operating IT systems of the enterprises or the application of third-party developers.

ABBYY Comparator is delivered in a version type for loading, it contains the license for use in one workplace with the Windows operating system. The developer company recommends the price – 23 thousand rubles.

System Requirements

• The computer with clock rate of the processor of 1 GHz or above.
• Operating system: Microsoft Windows 8/ 8.1 Microsoft Windows 7 Microsoft Windows Vista Microsoft Windows XP SP3 or above. For work with the localized interface the operating system should provide necessary language support.
• Amount of RAM: not less than 1024 MB. During the work in multiple processor systems 512 MB of RAM for each additional processor are required in addition.
• Empty seat on a disk: 300 MB for normal installation and 700 MB for a program runtime.
• The video card and the monitor with the resolution not less than 1024x768 points.
• Internet connection for activation of serial number.
• Keyboard, mouse or other pointing device.

For comparison of the documents Microsoft Office and Open Document the applications allowing to print files of the corresponding formats, for example, of Microsoft Office, LibreOffice should act on the computer.
