2020: Presentation of KNX of a control device ABB RoomTouch premises
On May 14, 2020 the ABB company provided to KNX a control device ABB RoomTouch premises.
According to forecasts of analysts, by 2025 the number of household electronic devices with Internet connection will exceed 75 billion worldwide. As one of components of an initiative Smart Cities' Mission to Zero, the attached device of management ABB RoomTouch helps to increase environmental friendliness of workflows. It differs in modern design and allows users to control all elements of the of automation of the building from a uniform wall panel.
Using ABB RoomTouch users can manage functions of a system: for example, to carry out on the screen up to lift blinds, or down to lower them. Using the touchpad they can create the personalized scenarios for the premises (for example, for viewing cinema or video when blinds fall and light dies away). The panel can also be managed through the menu and to confirm with contact such transactions as, for example, light inclusion.
For additional economy of energy the standby mode is provided in the device, and it automatically turns on when its sensors detect someone's presence nearby. In addition to direct control of lighting indoors, the device also supports the day and night modes.
The device is convenient in use and allows to manage easily in the single interface all daily actions: lighting, heating, ventilation, conditioning, blinds or sound playback.

The thin ABB RoomTouch device (its thickness is only 11 mm) is executed in the smooth metal body, equipped with a glass panel and is available in stylish black or white color. Before installation users can select landscape or portrait orientation of the device.
In addition to the automated dwellings, the ABB RoomTouch control panel is ideal for commercial premises, such as conference rooms, offices and medical offices.
