The agreement on such interaction was signed by Asker Saidov, General Director of Aeronautical and Information Systems JSC (AIS JSC, a subsidiary of Rostec State Corporation) and Alexey Raikevich, General Director of GLONASS JSC.

Galactica is certified and used as part of dozens of aviation dispatch centers in Russia and abroad. The platform has been specially finalized for the organization, planning and information support of small aviation flights. She was tested during demonstration flights to Skolkovo.

To implement the project, we involve our subsidiaries: a developer of radio technical support for flights and automation, as well as an operator of information services in the field of information activity. As of February 2023, these enterprises are successfully implementing a project to introduce a Russian data transmission network to provide mainline aviation flights, Asker Saidov said.

In addition to emergency warning and coordinate transfer to emergency services in case of emergency, ERA-GLONASS ensures the exchange of legally significant information in an uncorretted form with a unified system for organizing air traffic of the Russian Federation and government departments.

In 2022, ERA-GLONASS became the only tool for continuing the work of small aircraft when processing agricultural land during the "closed sky" period in the southern regions of the country. The current infrastructure of the system ensured the receipt, processing and transmission of reliable information about flights to the Russian Ministry of Defense, - said Alexey Raikevich.

Earlier, the effectiveness of ERA-GLONASS was confirmed by exercises to rescue the crew of the An-2 aircraft, which suffered a conditional accident in the Krasnoyarsk Territory on an area identical to the Arctic Ocean. Information about the incident was promptly transferred to aviation search and rescue services.
