2021: The announcement of AIVL-01 - the ventilator with function of complex monitoring of dynamics of lungs without radiation

In February, 2021 the Schwabe holding provided the medical ventilator (IVL) with function of complex monitoring of dynamics of lungs without radiation. The device received name AIVL-01, by the time of the announcement it has no analogs in Russia, developers claim.

The device is intended for people is more senior than one year which are treated in intensive care units and resuscitation. New development allows to visualize filling of lungs in the course of breath, to estimate extent of their defeat — including at viral pneumonia and also in that case when doctors need to correct the strategy of respiratory support by adjustment of the volumes of respiratory mix given to the patient, the press service of Rostec reports ("Schwabe" is included into this state corporation).

It is noted that the tomography is executed by an electroimpedance method, safe for the person, which is based on registration of level of conductivity of internals of the person.

The release both ventilators with the built-in tomograph, and the tomograph as an independent product is planned. The device with the built-in tomograph at the expense of small dimensions is suitable for use both in a hospital, and when transporting patients within hospital or in ambulance cars, emphasized in Rostec.

The AIVL-01 model is created on Ural Optical & Mechanical Plant of Schwabe holding. By February, 2021 the device passes technical tests for its registration.

Rostec added that the commission of the Ministry of science and the higher education of the Russian Federation noted "AIVL-01" as one of the best projects implemented within the federal target program "Research and Development in the Priority Directions of Development of a Scientific and Technology Complex of Russia for 2014-2021".[1]
