"AAM Sistemz" is the system integrator, equipment supplier and software developer for the systems of technical security. The equipment supplied by the company and managed by the software package APACS only in Russia ensures safety of more than 2.5 thousand state and commercial objects among which there are 6 national banks, 45 objects of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation and Sberbank, the Domodedovo airport, objects of oil and power complexes, the plants and factories, representative offices of the foreign companies and so forth.

APACS 3000 v 6.2

On April 25, 2011 there was a new version of the software package APACS 3000 v 6.2. In this release the video subsystem to which functionality were added was significantly finished:

  • new client application "Videoprosmotr";
  • new opportunities of the APACS 3000 NVR video servers.

In the new version appeared:

  • the module of recognition of documents for the Card file;
  • automatic execution of reports of URV and Report generator;
  • the simplified issue of maps with the help of templates;
  • support of quick entry of numbers of smart cards.

New opportunities for the geographically distributed organizations are developed. In APACS 3000 v6.2 the new subsystem appeared: replication of card owners.

New client application "Videoprosmotr"

In the version of v6.2 the APACS 3000 PC video subsystem was considerably finished. There was a new customized client application "Videoprosmotr". The new user interface allows to locate cameras in usual video layouts: 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, 5 cameras, 12 cameras, there is a possibility of drag and drop of cameras a mouse in the video layout and from the list of active cameras, support of the hotspot, a possibility of disclosure of the image from the camera on all window, a digital zoom.

For rapid response to suspicious situations functions of quick search in archive are provided. If the operator noticed something suspicious, he can directly browse in a cell of the camera that there were 30 sec., 10 min., an hour ago on this camera.

The subsystem allows to configure flexibly the rights to the video surveillance operator on accomplishment of these or those functions in the video subsystem, for example, to prohibit drag and drop of cameras or adding of new cameras in the video layout.

New opportunities of the APACS 3000 NVR video servers

In addition to the user interface of the video surveillance operator sale of the APACS 3000 NVR video servers is improved.

In the new version the program detector of the movement with a recording capability on it is developed, and it is possible to configure independently sensitivity of the detector using the convenient indicator of activity. There were functions of prerecord and post-record for a video source, function of ring record for cameras, an opportunity to limit the maximum volume of video for a certain source. The feature for individual preference of a way to archive for each camera was added that it is especially demanded at record on different disks.

Starting with version 6.2, records of a videoarchive can be exported to any video formats set in Windows, for example DivX, MPEG and so forth.

Module of recognition of documents

Automatic recognition of such documents as the passport and driver's licenses allow to accelerate significantly data entry about visitors and employees.

In the new version integration of a subsystem of recognition of documents of Cognitive into the Card file of the APACS 3000 PC is executed. The following document types are supported: Russian passport, international passport of the Russian Federation of an old and new sample, driver's licenses of an old sample.

Data from the recognized document can be used for adding in the Card file of the new card holder, or for removal of information on already existing employees/visitors from the database. If necessary a system allows to make manual corrections to results of recognition for adding of the new user. As the scanner of documents both the specialized scanner of passports, and the wide list of normal scanners can be used.

Automatic execution of reports

If at the enterprise the Time recording is used, there is a problem of periodic creation of reports on a worked time. As a rule, such reports are under construction, at least, once a month. To automate this process, the subsystem of automatic execution of reports was developed.

The subsystem allows automatically, to build reports without participation of the operator, and to send results by e-mail or to save on the hard drive in the specified directory.

All report types of the Time recording and the Report generator are supported. At a task of parameters of automatic execution of reports it is possible to specify a relative interval for which the report should be constructed (for example, for the last month). Several formats of reports are supported: csv – for further import and processing to Excel and html - for viewing and printing.

This subsystem is available in Pro modification.

The simplified issue of maps with the help of templates

The simplified issue of cards will be especially useful in the organizations where constantly it is necessary to issue new cards with the same settings of access, and operation of these cards should be limited on time. For example, the guest cards for visitors operating one day.

To organize the simplified issue of cards, it is necessary to create a template in which to specify groups of access for the card and date of activation/deactivation (and dates can be and relative) and to describe rules of application of a template. After that a system itself will automatically put down the correct groups of access and date of activation/deactivation at issue of cards to all visitors.

Any reference fields of the card holder can act as conditions for a task of access rights: company, department, position, category, etc. and also all additional fields.

Support of quick entry of numbers of smart cards

Input of card numbers manually requires attentiveness of the operator and takes certain time. It is much simpler to show the card on the reader and to see its number in a data entry field. Such mechanism was supported in APACS 3000 for Proximity-cards earlier. Starting with version 6.2, there was also a simplified input of numbers of smart cards.

For input of numbers of smart cards are used the reader OMNIKey of HID company which supports the formats iClass, Mifire. The reader is connected to usb-port of that computer on which the client application APACS 3000 PC, for example the Card file is installed. At presentation of a smart card, its number automatically appears in a data entry field.

Subsystem of replication of card owners

The new subsystem of replication of card owners is intended for automatic synchronization of data on some group of card owners between different independent branches under control of the APACS 3000 PC.

The present possibility is demanded in case the enterprise has several territorially remote branches, buildings or industrial facilities, and a number of employees should have access in several branches at once.

A system replicates data of employees, their cards, photos, data of reference books. If touch between branches is lost, a system accumulates the changes made during this time and sends them at connection recovery.

If necessary, there is a function of manual "resynchronization" of data.

Other opportunities of the new version

In addition to the listed opportunities numerous improvements of the user interface were executed, support of hardware functions of the equipment APOLLO, VertX, Satel extended, the list of the supported video cameras was updated. Starting with version 6.2, the APACS 3000 PC supports MS SQL 2008 R2.

Cognitive Passport is integrated into a software package for systems management of security of APACS 3000

Cognitive Passport is built in the software package APACS 3000 — the advanced development of AAM Sistemz company in the field of the integrated security systems, control systems of access and the systems of IP video surveillance. For recognition of certifying documents Cognitive Passport was integrated into APACS 3000 in the form of the separate module. It provides recognition of such certifying documents as the Russian passport, the international passport of the Russian Federation of an old and new sample, driver's licenses of an old sample. Data from the recognized document can be used for adding in a card file of the new card holder. If necessary a system allows to make manual corrections to results of recognition. As the scanner of documents both the specialized scanner of passports, and the wide list of normal scanners can be used.

Such opportunities of Cognitive Passport as extraction from the scan of the document of the photo and the signature of its owner and also high quality of text recognition allow to issue the admission 6-8 times faster in comparison with manual entry of data on the employee or the visitor, at the same time the quantity of errors of input is reduced at 15-20 times.
