2021: Launch the application with the directory of Russian programs
In April 2021, it became known that the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation launched a catalog of Russian applications for smartphones and tablets. The project called APP List is a separate mobile application containing the name of programs of domestic developers, structured in several categories.
The APP List lists "the most useful and high-quality applications" that are offered for free and safe for users, according to the product description in the Google Play store.

By April 6, 2021, the APP List version is available only for Android. The release dates of the iOS variant are not called. The following categories are located inside the catalog:
- "For every day" (33 annexes);
- Media and Media (32 applications);
- Culture (17 annexes);
- "Government applications" (14 applications);
- Communication and Communications (19 applications);
- "Food and groceries" (4 annexes);
- "Goods and Services" (23 annexes);
- Auto (3 appendices);
- "Education" (15 annexes);
- "Work" (4 annexes);
- "Sports" (5 applications).
Most software is official applications of socially significant resources. By April 6, 2021, the APP List app rating on Google Play is 3.3 out of 5, it has a lot of negative reviews. Users who leave negative comments are dissatisfied primarily with the capabilities of the application - someone does not like the absence of certain settings, including a dark topic, someone does not understand why this application is needed in principle. APP List has been downloaded about 100 thousand times.[1][2]
