The most widespread design tool of business processes and development of the system of strategic indicators in Russia is the instrumental ARIS system which in addition to means of the description of business processes has the module of controlling of business processes ARIS Process Performance Manager.
Actually, using this module it is possible to aggregate process key indicators of effectiveness from different information systems (ERP, CRM, BPM, etc.), but at the same time it is necessary to consider that end-to-end business processes pass through several information systems that requires aggregation of data from several sources in uniform storage.
Therefore, ARIS PPM is specially optimized for problems of collecting and the analysis of process indicators from a set of information systems.
ARIS PPM reconstructs all business process, since the fragments provided by separate information systems, realizing the potential of process optimization and allowing to carry out benchmarking with other processes. Assessment of all end-to-end process also allows to detect "bottlenecks" in interfaces of process where unnecessary long waiting times of resources or information at accomplishment of process create opportunities for optimization. If to consider the purposes of implementation of ARIS PPM, then it is possible to select the following:
- creation of a full stroke of business process management;
- increase in transparency and quality of business processes;
- determination of level of automation of controlled business processes;
- creation of control facilities of process indicators of activity;
- creation of the tool for the analysis of statistics on business processes;
- benchmarking of the performed business processes;
- measurement of real efficiency of business processes;
- creation of a basis for further improvement of business processes;
- implementation of the effective systems of measurement and assessment of results of carrying out organizational and structural conversions.
