2024: Filtering of loads by loading and unloading places, weight, volume and other parameters

The functionality has been updated in the automatic cargo copying service of the ATI.SU Freight Exchange. Each copy can now be customized more personalised by filtering loads by loading and unloading locations, weight, volume and other parameters. The developer announced this on August 27, 2024.

Many logicians publish cargo from third-party systems on the "ATI.SU Exchange" in order to quickly find transport for a direct customer. When there are several cargoes, it is not difficult to do this manually. If there are more of them, the labor costs increase in multiples, errors appear, and the data is placed with a delay.

To simplify and speed up the work of logicians, the specialists of the ATI.SU Exchange created the Automatic Cargo Copying service. Thanks to it, you do not need to manually transfer data from systems on which a direct customer works, and errors that occur during manual transfer are excluded. In addition, the service provides a systematic approach and the maximum possible speed of publication of goods.

The enabled copying and high-quality filtering settings accurately duplicate important information on the cargo, takes into account data on the desired commission and other parameters, which is as close as possible to decision-making by a "living" logician.

For August 2024, ATI.SU integrations with Atrucks and TorgTrans systems are available, as well as copying ATI.SU Sites (from other sites to their sites and Exchange) within the cargo distribution service.

Thanks to the update of the Automatic Copy Loads service, the Copy Name field appeared in the copy card, as well as the ability to add filters. This is an important update for those who need to create different categories of copied goods with different commission and other conditions, as well as limit the direction of work with goods. The given name allows you to personalize each copy so that it is more convenient to find it in the list and manage it later.

Here are some examples of using filters. Up to 10 objects can be added to the By Loading and By Unloading filters: cities, regions, regions, or where the countries delivery route begins and ends. So you can, for example, manage intracity transportation if you specify the same city in both fields (Moscow-Moscow, etc.). The By Weight and By Volume filters make it possible to customize copying, for example, to work only with low-tonnage. transport

The automatic copying service is already in demand among our forwarding customers who need to work with cargo from different sites in one convenient interface. The added filtering helps users work better with loads when copying. In turn, we will continue to expand the functionality of the ATI.SU digital tool ecosystem: the strategic goal for the coming year is the implementation of the TMS service for us, "said Svyatoslav Wilde, founder and director of the ATI.SU Freight Exchange.

2021: The ability to include copying of goods to several sites at once

On January 15, 2021, the ATI.SU Freight Exchange company presented an updated functionality of the Copy Cargo service. It allows freight forwarders to optimize the process of finding the most optimal transport performers and keep standard routine operations to a minimum.

"Copy Loads"

According to the company, usually when a cargo owner issues an application for the transportation of cargo, his forwarder is forced to call carriers or manually add cargo to his site on the stock exchange in order to find an executor. With the updated Copy Loads service, the forwarding agent can automate these actions. As soon as the cargo owner puts the cargo on his site, he is automatically copied to the forwarding agent's site. Freight forwarders are notified of the new cargo and can offer their services. At the same time, carriers will see cargo with a rate that takes into account the commission of the forwarding agent.

Thus, while others are forced to call their carriers, collecting rates, freight forwarders using the service manage to choose an offer and book the cargo. If the cargo rate does not imply the possibility of bargaining, then everything happens even faster. The carrier can book the cargo placed with the forwarding agent himself and provide data on the driver and the car. Once this happens, the system will book the cargo from the cargo owner on behalf of the forwarding agent. The driver and car data that the carrier entered will be sent to the cargo owner so that he can draw up a request. The forwarder will only have to receive documents from the cargo owner and sign them.

The service was launched in MVP format about a year ago. At the end of December 2020, a revised version of the service was presented. The development was carried out by the Exchange's IT team, which was tasked with expanding the existing functionality by adding to the algorithm the ability to include copying cargo to several sites at once. This required major alterations of the backend. Another goal of the changes was to update the interface and convenience of the service. The team made a separate page for load copy settings, where users can see where they copy loads from and which sites are placed. There you can also control the settings: change the commission, turn on and off copying. At the same time, the entire implementation had to be done on a "live" system: the ability to copy was not disabled, so all updates were backward compatible and made taking into account the requirements of the first version.

The Copy Loads service allows you not only to copy regular loads, but also to enable the Through Bidding mode. This mode means that the bidding placed by the cargo owner will simultaneously start among carriers at the forwarding agent's site. At the same time, carriers will see the rate taking into account the commission of the forwarding agent. If one of them wins the auction by offering the best price, the cargo will be booked on behalf of the forwarding agent.

The task of the updated service "Copying cargoes" is to digitize part of the logistics chain "freight owner-freight forwarder" and, thus, to supplement the ecosystem of digital services developed by the "ATI.SU Freight Exchange."

We set ourselves the task of entering into a single digital circuit all participants in the road freight market - customer, forwarder, carrier, driver - and developing services that minimize routine processes that take a lot of time. Modern technologies already allow us to automate almost all the standard actions of logicians of companies and freight forwarders, we can only pack them into services and popularize them in the community.
