ARMO-Systems announced 8-megapixel AV8365 surveillance videocameras of Arecont Vision company which are intended for panoramic video filming on objects of the big area in August, 2011.
High image quality four 2-megapixel CMOS sensors with the resolution of 1600х1200 pixels provide each and original processor with the patented massively-parallel MegaVideo technology. Thanks to them, the new panoramic video camera is capable to create 8-megapixel video (6400×1200 pixels) in the H.264 and MJPEG formats at the frame rate of 22 fps, to broadcast up to 2 parallel video flows with individual preferences of parameters and different bitrate. Besides, AV8365 differ in broad dynamic range (to 61 dB) therefore these panoramic models will effectively work in difficult conditions of illumination.
Panoramic video filming of an object is performed by AV8365 due to original construction of the chamber module with 4 lenses which general viewing angle makes 360 °, and 2-axial hinged fastening provides adjustment of their provision in vertical direction within 90 °. Along with it, the panoramic video camera provides a possibility of electronic alignment of the image on ±10 ° in vertical direction for each sensor and excludes emergence of "dead" zones. It is possible to browse the panoramic image with the complete permission or reduced twice on each of the parties.
Two video cameras are a part of AV8365 series: AV8365DN intended for video filming in premises and its street modification AV8365DN-HB with the heater and the fan, capable is reliable to function at temperatures from -30 °C to +55 °C. Both panoramic models are delivered in a vandal proof aluminum casing with a transparent dome from polycarbonate and correspond to a class a heat - and moisture protection of IP66. Depending on architecture of the video system the panoramic video camera can receive a power supply from sources of direct/alternating current or via the network devices supporting Power over Ethernet technology (IEEE802.3af standard).
In AV8365 a number of original functions on work with video is implemented. So, for example, the panoramic video camera uses the Cropping function ("scrap") giving to the operator a removal opportunity from a frame of insignificant sections and archiving only of important fragments of any size. Also AV8365 supports the mode of zone reading of ROI (Region of Interest) in which it is possible to select the interesting sections of the panoramic image for more detailed, increased viewing in a separate window. In the same AV8365 mode represents separate virtual video cameras with personal settings.
New devices came to the Russian market, their retail price is 77,045 rubles.
