Mobile Web Capture — SDK for smartphones which helps to service far off clients in shops, services for lease cars, hotels, telecommunication and other companies.

2019: Announcement
On June 21, 2019 Abbyy provided tools for developers (SDK) thanks to which the companies will be able to facilitate data entry on the websites.
The new solution from Abbyy was received by the name Mobile Web Capture SDK, it is constructed on JavaScript. It can be integrated with the website or its mobile version therefore users will not need to enter manually data from the passport or driver's licenses. It is enough to new user to visit the website of the company through mobile browser Chrome or Safari. The client points the camera at the necessary document — for example, the passport, the car driver license, the credit card, the questionnaire of the buyer. Intellectual algorithms find Abbyy the document in a video flow, define borders and previously process the image. The user needs only to press the button and to send the file. In combination with other technologies intellectual of information processing Mobile Web Capture allows to automate completely remote work with clients — from submission of documents before payment of goods or receiving service.
The VentureBeat edition gives the following example of use of technology. The client receives the link to the web commitment form to a car loan by e-mail. When they get on a resource, the driver's licenses ask to scan them. The recognized data automatically get to the corresponding fields.
If the bank needs check of the address of the applicant, it can be offered to user to scan other relevant document, for example the statement on cash flow on the credit card or the account for utilities.
Mobile Web Capture SDK is focused on mobile versions of the websites which use for single transactions, like application for the credit. Users do not want to download separate applications and prefer to visit the mobile website one-time. Than less problems with registration, that high probability that users will continue to work with this resource, note in Abbyy.
