On April 21, 2021, Acer introduced the Acer XL1220 projector on the Russian market. The model is equipped with a laser diode, which provides a service life of up to 30000 hours without maintenance and brightness with contrast. Native XGA resolution (1024x768) allows you to get a good picture with the proper level of detail even on a large screen, and the built-in speaker allows you to abandon the additional acoustic system and save space.

According to the company, the Acer XL1220 is equipped with a laser diode instead of a regular lamp, which optimizes its lifetime and makes it possible to quickly switch on and off the network after use due to the fact that the diode does not require time to warm up, to achieve maximum brightness, and to cool down after work. There is also a function of automatic disconnection when there is no signal. In the standard mode, the life of the diode is 20000 hours, and in the economical mode, it increases to 30000 hours. This eliminates the need for frequent replacement of lamps and allows you to use the projector in continuous mode (24/7), which will be useful when working at exhibitions and presentations. Protection according to the IP6X standard eliminates the ingress of dust particles inside and, allows you to use a projector not only in the room, but also on the street.

Acer XL1220 projects an image in native XGA resolution (1024x768), which is enough to comfortably view any video, photo and graphic files. The maximum supported resolution available is 4K2K (3840 x 2160). Even on the largest screen (the projector supports a screen diagonal of up to 300 inches), the image will differ in detail. And due to the proper contrast and brightness level of 3100 lumens, the model shows a picture at any time of the day, in any room and in almost any lighting. The coverage of the NTSC color space is 70%, which provides the correct colors and shades of projection without distortion. And optimized color saturation allows you to achieve a bright and colorful image, both when viewing graphic files and charts, and when playing movies and photos. Sports fans will appreciate the football mode, which optimizes the brightness, saturation and sharpness of the image.

To connect to the signal source, the Acer XL1220 has two HDMI ports (1.4 and 1.4a), an RCA, and an analog VGA connector. Wireless connectivity is also available. The model has ample possibilities to customize the image. For ease of adjustment, it is possible to correct the shape of the image at four angles. And thanks to the support of 360 ° projection technology, the projector can be installed in any position in the vertical plane. It is possible to project up, down, forward and in any intermediate position.

To combat trapezoidal distortion, both a manual and an automatic vertical correction function is provided, which allows achieving an even rectangular shape of the screen, even if the projector is located above or below it.

In the standard mode, this parameter is 20000 hours, which is several times higher than the usual lamps, and in the economical mode - 30000 hours. This avoids the frequent replacement of lamps and allows you to use the projector in continuous mode (24/7). Protection according to the IP6X standard eliminates dust ingress and allows you to use a projector not only in the room, but also on the street. In turn, the installation of a laser diode, which does not need time to warm up and cool down, allows you to achieve the proper brightness of the image immediately after switching on and disconnect the projector from the network immediately after use. In addition, the projector has the function of automatically turning off in the absence of a signal. You can configure the time to disconnection yourself.

Acer XL1320W projects an image in WXGA resolution (1280x800). Also, the projector is capable of outputting an image in 4K2K resolution (3840 x 2160). And thanks to a decent level of contrast and brightness of 3100 lumens, the model shows a good picture at any time of the day and in any room. The 70% coverage of NTSC space and REC.709 compliance ensures that the projection shades are natural and saturated without distortion. And thanks to optimized color saturation, the projector provides a bright and colorful image, regardless of whether it is a commercial presentation or video playback.
