2020: Increase in turnover by 40%
The online store ACERonline.ru in 2020 increased turnover by 40%. This was announced on March 25, 2021 by Merlion (Merlion).
The average check according to the results of the year amounted to 52,256 rubles.
The main buying demand came in February, March and April 2020, when most of the population switched to a remote way of working and studying. The most popular product category in 2020 was ultra-lightweight solutions and gaming laptops, while the most expensive sold product was the Predator Thronos Air gaming chair, worth 2 million rubles.
During the year, many new products appeared in the ACERonline assortment. Enduro - a line of protected laptops designed to work in difficult conditions: heat, cold, dust and humidity. Elegant and stylish Porsche Design Acer Book RS, developed in conjunction with the German studio Porsche Design, which used 3K carbon fiber with diamond cut. Lightweight ultrabook Swift 5 with antimicrobial coating that protects against bacteria and microbes.
The project plans to expand the assortment line, improve and expand the methods of payment for orders - connecting SBP (fast payment system), developing a product leasing program and loyalty program, as well as revising the site.
Despite the pandemic, ACERonline turned out to be successful for the year: indicators for most product groups increased. 2019: Revenue growth 40 times
Computer equipment manufacturer Acer and the Merlion group of companies summed up the results of the joint project - the official online store Aceronline.ru for calendar year 2019. This was announced on February 21, 2020 by Merlion.
The revenue of online brandshop in 2019 increased 40 times compared to 2018. The assortment of the store for February 2020 has more than 1,300 product items. Products such as ultrabooks, convertible laptops, gaming laptops, monitors and accessories are most popular.
In the official online store you can always find exclusive models and series that are not offered at other retailers and online partners of the vendor. So, in 2019, Acer introduced a line of ConceptD products for people of creative professions, which is exclusively available only in Aceronline.ru.
In addition, solutions such as Thronos worth 2,499,000 rubles are sold in the official store. This is a game mechanized chair for real e-sportsmen and thrills lovers. On February 21, 2020, all seats were sold out and an updated model is expected to be delivered.
According to Merlion, the project began work in 2018. The development of services, organizational and technical support of the online store is carried out by its specialists together with the Russian representative office of Acer. The distributor's employees also support the marketing promotion of the project.
