Acronis Data Protection Platform is a set of solutions on data protection, backup, recovery in emergency situations, safe file synchronization and the general to them access.

On July 14, 2015 the Acronis company announced release of a cloud platform^[1].

The platform is created on a modern cloud computing architecture, in its structure of the solution like "software as service" (SaaS) for backup, recovery in emergency situations, synchronization and the general access to files. At the heart of the Acronis AnyData Engine platform – a set of the powerful and reliable technologies of data protection helping to collect, to save and recover data and also to manage them, to get access to any data from any point.

Acronis Data Protection Platform supports a wide number of options of deployment and business models, allowing to consider requirements of all types of partners:

• resellers and distributors – a hosting in Acronis using simple licensing on model of sales in the form of service;
• service providers – a hosting, management and branding are executed by own forces with assistance of Acronis.

Acronis Data Protection Platform is developed for the purpose of compliance to specific requirements of circles of service providers and supports a set of systems used today, including XEN KVM Linux, Virtuozzo Docker, Open-Xchange and MySQL, in addition to Windows Mac Hyper-V VMware RHEV Oracle VM, Microsoft Exchange and SQL. The platform contains the built-in system of automation which allows partners quickly and to easily scale the solution for support of millions of end users in process of business growth.
