2015: Advanced Port Scanner 2.4

On November 6, 2015 it became known of release of the next version of the free network utility by Famatec company - Advanced Port Scanner 4/2/2750 (before Advanced IP Scanner).

This utility helps the user to collect information on the devices connected to network: find their resources, shared folders, HTTP, HTTPS and FTP, to get access to them. Using Advanced IP Scanner it is possible to be connected far off to the found computers through RDP and Radmin. The program supports remote turning on / switching off of computers.

The version of Advanced IP Scanner 2.4 assists in work of system administrators with local networks. The functionality of OS determination on computers of network, types of network devices (the router, the printer, etc.), receiving names and versions of the found services HTTP and FTP is saved. The possibility of the choice of programs for connection for the protocols FTP, HTTP, Telnet works.

2014: Advanced IP Scanner 2.4

In November, 2014 there was an updating of the scanner of the IP addresses for Windows, Advanced IP Scanner 2.4. Upgraded version of Advanced IP Scanner will allow to simplify work of system administrators with local networks. In version 2.4 features for OS determination on computers of network, determination of types of network devices (the router, the printer, etc.) and also receiving names and versions of the found services HTTP and FTP are added. In addition, the possibility of the choice of programs for connection for the protocols FTP, HTTP, Telnet appeared.

2013 Advanced IP Scanner 2.3

The Famatec company announced on July 10, 2013 a release of the new version of the free network Advanced IP Scanner utility.

The new version of the fast, convenient and reliable scanner of the IP addresses for Windows, Advanced IP Scanner 2.3. saw network. The utility helps the user:

• collect information on the computers and devices connected to network;
• find their different resources, such as shared folders, HTTP, HTTPS and FTP.

Integration into the program of remote control Radmin Advanced IP Scanner computers allows to find all machines with the started Radmin Server and to be connected to them in one click; supports remote turning on / switching off of computers.

The functions facilitating to system administrators interaction with local networks are added to Advanced IP Scanner 2.3:

• possibility of scanning of RDP resources of network and access to them directly from the program.
• start of the ping, tracert and SSH commands for the selected computer.

2012

Advanced IP Scanner 2.2

In the new version of Advanced IP Scanner the user interface is improved and the feature for scanning in DNS computer name at input in an address bar is added. The printability of results of scanning from the program is also added. Function of name resolution of the users working at present on the scanned computers is implemented. At administration of a local network there can be useful a new feature of determination of the producer of the network adapter.

The main changes in new release concerned the scanning mechanism, - it was completely rewritten that allowed to achieve significant reduction of time and obtaining more exact results of scanning. The changes allowing to simplify work of system administrators with large corporate networks are added to Advanced IP Scanner 2.1: a possibility of display of the unoccupied IP addresses in results of scanning and a possibility of saving the results of scanning in the HTML formats and CSV. Also the user interface was improved, support of 4 modern languages was added.

Advanced IP Scanner 2.0

The network Advanced IP Scanner utility is intended for scanning of computer networks of the different sizes. Advanced IP Scanner 2.0 is the fast, reliable and convenient scanner of the IP addresses for Windows allowing to collect in read seconds information on computers in network. In addition to information on computers, the new version of the utility allows to find and get access to their different resources, such as shared folders, HTTP, HTTPS and FTP. The following new features are added to Advanced IP Scanner 2.0:

• remote switching off of one or at once several computers of network;
• remote turning on of the computers supporting Wake-On-LAN technology;
• search of computers with the set Radmin Server and connection to them one click of a mouse in control modes, file sharing, Telnet, etc.

The new scanning method on the basis of ARP implemented in the latest version of the program provides more complete and exact results. Changes concerned also the user interface which was completely rewritten and became much more convenient.

Created initially as the application expanding possibilities of Radmin (software for remote control computers), Advanced IP Scanner became one of the best network utilities and won popularity more than 10 million users.
