2019: Announcement of TPC-71W
The Advantech company, the supplier of industrial equipment, provided on July 15, 2019 TPC-71W — generation of industrial panel PCs based on the 7-inch flat display with a touch control of P-CAP and dual-core or the NXP Arm Cortex-A9 i.MX 6 quad-core processor providing high-performance computing.
The model is equipped with a serial port with final loading of 120 Ohms, the resistor which supports the CAN 2.0 B protocol and provides programmable data transfer rate to 1mb/sec., the built-in web browser Google Chromium.
Besides, TPC-71W supports different operating systems — Android, Linux Yocto and Linux Ubuntu with QT GUI TPC-71W. It considerably simplifies process of adaptation and implementing solutions for industrial application, emphasized in the company.
In turn, use of technologies of wireless communication, such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and NFC via the PCIe mini-connector facilitates net surfing and provides reliable connection for data transmission. TPC-71W also has the Power over Ethernet (PoE) function that assumes a power supply of devices through an Ethernet network.
The panel TPC-71W PC is equipped with fastening of VESA for fast and convenient installation. In general, this computing platform represents an optimal solution for implementation and development of IoT-projects, consider in Advantech.
