2021: Start sales in France
Aerotruck, a resident of the Skolkovo Foundation, announced on April 7, 2021 the launch of sales of aerodynamic "skirts" in France. They reduce fuel consumption, reduce the amount of harmful exhaust and increase the safety of freight transportation. The project is implemented with FM Logistic, Gefco and the French fleet Fraikin.
Aerotruck develops and manufactures aerodynamic "skirts" for trucks. They help reduce fuel consumption and harmful emissions by 2-6%, depending on operating conditions. The cost of the "skirt" is 1290-1590, the dollars company goes on payback in an average of 9-12 months.
Aerotrak aims to provide logistics companies with design solutions that reduce fuel consumption and improve the environmental performance of freight transportation, which corresponds to the general trend in the development of transport systems. The development is based on numerical modeling of aerodynamic processes arising during the movement of a freight train, said Alexey Belyaev, project manager of the Skolkovo Foundation Energy Efficient Technology Cluster.

Fairings are made of composite, which envelops obstacles. Metal components - high quality stainless steel AISI 304. Additional attachments have a small mass and withstand severe weather and road conditions. Aerodynamic "skirt" improves visibility, reduces the accumulation of ice and snow under the trailer and prevents cars, motorcycles, bicycles and pedestrians from falling under it.
Our development saves 100-150 thousand rubles a year on one car and pays off in about a year. It is very easy to install on almost any trailer without drilling and cooking. noted Almaz Ayupov, CEO of Aerotruck.
