2019: PLK-50 agave
On July 22, 2019 in AGAVA design office provided a programmable logic controller "AGAVA of PLK-50". With its help the developer intends to meet, first of all, the growing demand for the equipment for automation of difficult, branched management systems, with good price relation and qualities.
As the commercial director of AGAVA design office Oleg Poltavtsev noted, in the provided device the company integrated technical advantages of other controllers of a line. Like the PLK-30 AGAVE controller (it is released in 2016), "AGAVA of PLK-50" has no analog and discrete inputs exits that guarantees high resistance to noises. At the same time, as well as the fortieth model, it is equipped with the color touch screen with diagonal in 10 or 15 inches displaying any information necessary for the operator. The hardware component remained the same is a 32-bit processor with clock rate 1000 MHz which allows to achieve fast and sympathetic data visualization without "brakes" and logs.
At the same time, the developer made a number of changes to the controller. "PLK-50 AGAVE" has the increased number of the built-in interfaces of communication and can accept digital signals from a set of the elements of a system including scattered on different production facilities and which are at considerable distance from the controller and from attendant workstation. The body of the device is twice thinner, than at other models, connectors for connection are mounted not on a back wall, and on lower. All this can be important where there are restrictions on depth of instrument boards. Among connectors, there is also a full-fledged exit to the active speaker system: it is possible to configure sound or even speech notification about the events requiring urgent attention of the operator.
One more feature is connected with optimization of power supply. The AGAVE of a PLC - 30 controller is powered only from a DC power source in 24 V, "– 40", along with it, the connectivity to the alternating current main in 220 V.V the PLK-50 AGAVE controller has AGABUS PLK the developer left only a possibility of mains supply in 220 V, having made a choice for benefit of the option which is most demanded by customers.
"In spite of the fact that sequence numbers at models of our PLCs increase, it is not about evolution of the same device, namely about expansion of a line. The choice of the specific controller is usually caused by features of a management system which brain it should become, and the customer's tasks. So, the lack of the touch screen in the PLK-30 model - not minus, but an opportunity to save when control cabinets, for example, are located on objects where there is no constant visual inspection from personnel, but all information is brought to computers of a dispatcher station. The PLK-50 AGAVE controller is suitable for accomplishment of a broad spectrum of tasks of automation, but, developing it, we aimed to close demand for a PLC for automation of complex systems of management which on technical characteristics does not concede to the most expensive models, however at the price close to the most budget option", noted Oleg Poltavtsev, the commercial director of design office |
Also added to CB AGAVA that the line of the PLC developed by the company has two directions of development. Its updating will continue with the advent of more productive processors, chips of memory, communication standards, etc. The second direction - creation of own software development environment for a PLC as alternatives of an import packet of CoDeSys.
