Russian developer of smart devices AIMOTO presented a children's smartwatch with an AI assistant based on Yandex B2B Tech technologies. Yandex announced this on August 20, 2025.
The solution, based on the YandexGPT language model and the Yandex SpeechKit speech synthesis and recognition service, combines edtech functionality with parental control tools. The product is focused on the growing market of technological children's devices: the gadget can help with homework, supports dialogue and teaches children in an interactive format.
Special attention is paid to safety - the language model is trained to give safe and understandable explanations to children, built-in content filters block topics that are sensitive to children.
