Alaris SMS Platform is the complete solution for management of SMS traffic. The platform combines possibilities for the organization of SMS transit and providing subscriber SMS services.

Solution for operators of MG/MN of communication (transit of SMS traffic)

Task:

• the organization of transit of SMS traffic, the choice of optimal routes for cost control and increase in profitability.

Main modules Alaris SMS Platform:

• the transit SMS switch for exchange of SMS traffic with other operators under the SMPP protocol;
• the routing module for the choice of optimal routes of transit of SMS traffic on the basis of information on cost and quality of the directions and also a combination of these criteria;

• the operator interface for management of inline tunings of a system, registration of clients and suppliers of SMS traffic, installation of rules of routing, formation of accounts, etc.;
• the drop-side interface (client application) for providing to end users an opportunity to create own SMS campaigns, to browse reports, etc.;

The system which integrated the SMS switch based on Alaris SMS Platform with opportunities of routing and billing of Alaris inVoice provided to the operator who is traditionally working in the field of VoIP, an opportunity to expand business due to SMS transit provision of services. At the moment the SMS solution of Alaris Labs company is already implemented by a number of the international telecom operators, including developer company of popular mobile application of Viber. The platform is available to management of SMS traffic of Alaris SMS Platform as hosting SaaS service

Alaris SMS Platform is the solution for transit telecom operators offering a full range of tools for management of SMS traffic. The platform consists of a subsystem of the switching supporting the SMPP protocol for interaction with third-party solutions and also a subsystem of the routing and billing providing the choice of optimal routes of passing of SMS traffic and financial calculations. Advantage of the platform are convenient instruments of work with tariff plans and also the powerful analytical opportunities allowing to control profitability of partners and the directions.

The hosting SMS platform is established on a dedicated server and allows the operator without excess finance costs in the shortest possible time to start provision of services of transit of SMS traffic. The operator gets access to secure system with a possibility of reservation, registers the partners, loads tariff plans and begins commercial operation of the platform.

The hosting solution has particular advantages for the beginning SMS operators, including, for the companies which are traditionally rendering services to a voice communication and persons interested to enter the new market. First of all, it is caused by scaling of a system. The minimum license makes 2 million Sms a month and can be easily expanded with growth of volumes of SMS traffic. Alaris updated SMS Platform v.3.4.

On June 17, 2015 the Alaris Labs company announced release of version 3.4 of the solution for management of SMS traffic — Alaris SMS Platform. The API interface for work on the HTTP protocol and the mechanism of capacity management of SMS channels, the schedule of their activity^[1] became the main innovations of this release^[1].

In this version the SMPP standard is supported and API for work on the HTTP protocol is implemented. Interaction through HTTP API can be organized with clients and vendors. As a request the special URL format is used. Such opportunity provides fast and reliable integration of Alaris SMS Platform into the equipment of different producers that is especially important for the current stage of rapid development of the transit SMS market.

Alaris SMS Platform Use of contexts, 2014

A number of mechanisms of control of SMS channels is provided in the version of Alaris SMS Platform 3.4. There was an opportunity to limit message transmission rate that is especially important when the capacity of the channel is limited on the party of vendor. Messages undispatched in time get to the buffer, and in process of release of the channel are sent vendor. Became possible to plan time of sending the SMS. For this purpose the buffer of the channel originally is installed in the mode of accumulation and automatically switches in the processing mode in predefined time.

New rules of routing allow to limit acceptance of SMS traffic from certain numbers and prefixes that helps to fight against fraudulent traffic. Also the operator can configure replacement of calling number by number from the set list or created on the basis of a template.

Total quantity of completions about fifty. The version of Alaris SMS Platform 3.4 is available to installation since June 11, 2015.
