2020: Announcement of cloud Alibaba Cloud 2.0 OS

In the middle of September, 2020 at a virtual conference the Alibaba company submitted the cloud operating system - Alibaba Cloud 2.0. According to developers, thanks to this platform cloud computing should become available to all, "as water and electricity".

Alibaba Cloud 2.0 is the universal platform complemented with the Aspara system and own digital operating system. The technical director of Alibaba Group Jeff Zhang considers that Alibaba Cloud 2.0 will perform cloud operations intuitive and user-friendly and will allow the bigger number of the organizations to transfer the workloads to a cloud platform.

It marks the beginning of "a digital era" which will lead to creation of more reasonable society with more smart organizations and the enterprises.

Alibaba Cloud also announced the so-called "first cloud computer" of the company which received the name Wuying and Alibaba Cloud 2.0 OS in a basis. The Chinese alternative to chromebooks by the sizes is comparable to the smartphone. Wuying will be able to be connected to monitors and TVs for information output and to work running Windows or Linux. Its only difference from the personal computer that all workloads and calculations are executed in a cloud, but not on the device. Thus, Wuying offers unlimited computing power without regular updating of the equipment. Corporate clients of Alibaba will become the first users of innovation.

Wuying exceeds possibilities of the PC. This device can be used for accomplishment of difficult computing tasks, accomplishment of workloads with special requirements and even for rendering of video of high definition which in usual conditions requires the computing power of several PCs, - Jeff Zhang noted.[1]
