2019: Construction expenses of the headquarters made $4.17 billion

The new headquarters of Apple opened in 2017 became one of the most expensive offices of the companies in the history. Expenses on this project made $4.17 billion. Here entered purchase costs and preparation of the land plot, arrangement of buildings furniture, computers, etc.

As specifies the San Francisco Chronicle edition, without the equipment and furniture the cost of Park Apple is $3.6 billion. Exactly concerning this amount the company pays taxes.

The new headquarters cost Apple $4.2 billion

Park Apple enters ten the most expensive buildings of the world, despite rather modest height to four floors. Each element of this real estate was made by the individual order, the revenue inspector of the district Santa Clara David Ginsborg explained.

$3.8 billion were spent for recovery of World Trade Center in New York after terrorist attack, i.e. it is less, than on creation of the new headquarters. The three of the most expensive buildings includes a complex of high rise buildings of Abradzh al-Beit in Saudi Arabia ($15 billion), the International experimental thermonuclear reactor in France ($25 billion) and  the mosque Al-Haram  in Saudi Arabia ($100 billion).

Apple is the largest taxpayer in the district Santa Clara. Only for 2018 financial year the company paid taxes on the amount of $56 million. This digit includes a tax on Park Apple, the previous headquarters and different objects scattered on all region.

The office Park Apple executed in the uniform circular building of 260 thousand sq.m is located on the earth in 71 hectares. The headquarters is expected 12 thousand jobs. The cost of the land plot is $160 million.

Steve Jobs wanted that the campus resembled  one wildlife area more, than office therefore 80% of the territory cover green plantings. Walls of a campus are executed of glass.^[1]
