2025: Product Announcement
In November 2025, the Russian company MotoZavod Rus presented an updated version of the Arcturus electric motorcycle. The model is preparing for a small-scale production planned for 2026.
According to the manufacturer, the Arcturus electric motorcycle is a completely domestic development. The design uses Russian power electronics and a battery system. The technical characteristics of the model include a maximum speed of 140 km/h and a range of up to 150 km on a single battery charge. The maximum power of the electric motor is 30 kW, which is equivalent to 41 horsepower. This indicator corresponds to the parameters of light road motorcycles equipped with internal combustion engines.
The power supply of the model is based on lithium-iron-phosphate batteries of the LiFePO₄ type. These elements are characterized by increased stability during heating, slow loss of capacity during multiple charging and a high level of safety during intensive operation.
The official certification of the Arcturus electric bike with approval of the type of vehicle should be completed by the beginning of the 2026 motorcycle season, reports Tarantas News. In the spring of the same year, a closed presentation of the serial version will take place for media representatives and industry experts.
The approximate cost of the electric motorcycle will remain at the level of 1 million rubles. In this price category, Arcturus will become one of the most affordable Russian-made electric bikes.
The project is focused on a narrow circle of motor enthusiasts and operation as part of small fleets of equipment. The development demonstrates the intention of the domestic manufacturer to develop the segment of electric transport in the category of two-wheeled vehicles, Tarantas News believes[1]
