2022: Launch of mass production in Tatarstan

At the end of November 2022, the Russian automobile company Sollers announced the launch of mass production of two new models of light commercial vehicles under its own brand in Tatarstan. We are talking about the Atlant and Argo models.

According to TASS, cars of the Atlant model with a gross weight of 2.5 tons to 4.2 tons are equipped with a diesel engine of 139 liters. from. or 150 liters. from. ecological class Euro 5.

Sollers launched mass production of new cars under its own brand in Tatarstan

"Argo" is a compact car of a cabless layout for intra-city transportation with a gross weight of 2.5 tons to 3.5 tons. Models are equipped with a diesel or gasoline engine.

It is assumed that Sollers cars will be replaced by Ford Transit, which has left the Russian market. Sales of the first new cars will start in December 2022, and production using full-cycle technology will be launched in 2023. The localization program of the new line of commercial vehicles will include the production of diesel engines, stamping production, localization of key electronic components, chassis elements, and so on. All plant personnel will be involved in the project.
