ATLAS.SA is a failover cluster archival storage system based on scale-out architecture. The solution delivers up to 61 TB/h per node and up to 5.9 PB/h per cluster, ideal for tasks that require fast data processing. The system is equipped with SAS hard drives and is expanded by adding similar storage nodes up to 165 nodes in one cluster and a total capacity of up to 158PB. Modernization of the system is possible due to the phased introduction of new nodes, which significantly increases the life cycle of operation. Support for simultaneous removal of old and new nodes to the storage cluster without suspending operations provides seamless upgrades and continuous readiness to scale storage capacity and workloads.
The updated ATLAS.SA solution combines several security mechanisms to create a reliable "protective dome" around backups and archives. IP access control and built-in rights management eliminate unauthorized connections, and file system cloning technology allows you to save individual backups in an environment that is visible and managed exclusively by the ATLAS.SA system itself and is not accessible from the external network. The central element of the solution is WORM technology, thanks to which data cannot be changed or deleted after writing.
