2020: Auryon start - the systems of treatment of diseases of peripheral arteries

At the end of September, 2020 the AngioDynamics company released the system of a laser aterektomiya Auryon for treatment of diseases of peripheral arteries. A system can be used for treatment of occlusions and defeats of any type and extent as above, and below a knee with the minimum impact on walls of vessels. The scope of a new system includes critical ischemia of extremities and restenoz in the stent.

In a system the platform which sends short ultra-violet laser impulses with the wavelength of 355 nanometers is used. A system tries to obtain target biological reactions from a vessel wall, minimizing risk of perforation, an embolization or other serious complications. Besides, it provides evaporation of defeats without thermal ablation.
