Autodesk Factory Design Suite

Autodesk Factory Design Suite is the simplest transfer of the production premises, 2D-AutoCad drawings in the three-dimensional plan, without violation of usual design methods.

On March 31, 2014 Autodesk announced updating of the solution Autodesk Factory Design Suite.

Developers said support of technologies of laser scanning for creation of relevant "environment", enhanced capabilities of data mapping of the shop equipment, support by mobile applications.

2015: There was a release of the version of Autodesk Factory Design Suite 2016

On May 27, 2015 the Autodesk company announced release of version 2016 of the program for design of Factory Design Suite 2016 industrial enterprises.

This version of a packet including the updated Inventor helps to design effectively industrial enterprises, to consider possible options of placement of the equipment.

A system is presented at the market by three editions:

• Standard: the functionality of AutoCAD helping to arrange the equipment quicker in comparison with traditional methods.

• Premium: Standard release and also specialized 3D - tools for adoption of more rational solutions prior to installation.

• Ultimate: release of Premium and plus tools for design and modeling of the equipment and identification of potential collisions.
