Autodesk PowerMill is software for production of difficult compression molds, stamps, other components.
On August 8, 2016 the Autodesk company announced release of the PowerMill CAM system of version 2017.
As a part of the upgraded version:
- more effective strategy of fair processing with 3D - an indent, the improved means of computer simulation and the optimization of not cutting tool trajectory sections based on restrictions for more effective and safe
- for the first time in PowerMill the strategy of a task of cycles of turning for use on five-axial turning milling machines are implemented.
It changes allow PowerMill to remain the optimal choice for the producers using difficult types of position three-axial, high-speed and continuous processing of metals cutting.
