Automation Anywhere Discovery Bot

At the beginning of March, 2020 Automation Anywhere released Discovery Bot — tools for the analysis of business processes accompanying projects of intellectual automation. Discovery Bot studies processes, writes actions of the users participating in them, finds chains of the routine transactions executed manually then selects among processes that are capable to provide payback of the RPA projects, and automatically creates for them the first versions of bots — intellectual employees.

"Discovery Bot is the web application which does not require installation on a disk of the customer and can be scaled. It is a component of our platform that provides the analysis of processes — Sergunin Semyon, the manager of Automation Anywhere company on marketing of the product Discovery Bot explained. — What is important, this product allows to analyze actions of different user groups using the same tools, providing a continual loop of automation".

Discovery Bot allows to simplify process documentation, giving to employees an opportunity to write the actions and to prepare process description. Based on this description, the analyst creates the optimized scheme of process then tools generate bots on its basis.

It is planned that in the next versions of Discovery Bot record of processes will be made completely automatically, in the background, without distracting users from work, the module of machine learning will independently reveal processes and transactions which can be covered by the RPA project then automation "pipeline" will be generated. Besides, Discovery Bot will be able independently to estimate an investment payback at automation of these or those processes, helping to distribute optimum efforts in the RPA projects.

Thus, Discovery Bot will accelerate project implementation of intellectual automation and RPA due to documentation and the analysis of processes, and besides, will allow to find opportunities for new projects and to raise an investment payback in RPA.
