2024: Sfera SBC launch
Avantelecom has expanded its IT portfolio and announced the launch of its own Sfera SBC session border controller. The company announced this on October 29, 2024.
The product from Avantelecom is designed to protect the network infrastructure of companies from the large business segment, as well as government customers. The Sfera SBC Session Edge Controller is an information security solution and offers protection of organizations' telecommunications infrastructure from unauthorized access and cyber attacks.
Sfera SBC is a fully software solution that does not require the installation of additional equipment. The solution is intended for use at the IP network boundary between the operator's network and the client's corporate network. SBC allows you to set strict rules for accessing the corporate telephone network, limiting the possibility of unauthorized entry, as well as protecting the internal perimeter of VoIP from listening and stealing passwords, including detecting and preventing DDoS attacks, eliminating the risks of brute-force (hacking accounts and passwords) and hiding network topology.
The solution helps secure SIP equipment and integrate various communication systems. The software product provides high quality communication, smoothes traffic bursts and protects the internal network from congestion. The software supports SIP and H323 protocols, withstands the load of up to 1,500 parallel connections and includes a system of banks by IP address and user data.
Network protection is an important element of the telecommunications infrastructure of government organizations and large businesses, for which data security is a priority. We have supplemented our line of communication solutions with a product to help our customers build a secure and fault-tolerant network architecture based on the Russian registry solution, "said Vladislav Viryasov, director of Avantelecom. |
