New opportunities of Avaya ACE 2.3 include:

  • More full integration with Avaya Aura®™ due to use of a broad spectrum of the package applications and web services available on the Avaya Aura platform.
  • The new client application interacting with Microsoft Communicator allows to organize phone call by clicking of one key (click-to-call) using online or the local client of Microsoft Communicator and also to be connected to it from the desktop Avaya phone. Use of the uniform convenient and available client on the basis of Avaya Aura provides all advantages of a communication framework, such as high level of security, reliability and functionality, and its installation is possible in the presence of the standard client license Microsoft Office Communications Server.
  • The package application allowing to integrate voice functions into the latest version of IBM® Lotus Notes® and Sametime®. Now, using the desktop Avaya phones and also other producers, using Lotus 8.5.1 employees can see the status of availability of colleagues to telephone conversation and if necessary perform a call clicking of one key.
  • New packet of tools for Avaya Aura which gives to IT developer bigger control during planning of communication sessions where different functions can be activated in the course of setup of parameters of a call. For example, the law company can create the application which will define an incoming call of the client, in the automatic mode to perform its record, to send it for interpretation and to make out the client a bill.
