Avaya Flare Experience
Line of solutions and services of the next generation for the organization of business communications in real time using video. New solutions provide unique opportunities of interaction of the virtual working groups and have the intuitive interface.
The broad spectrum of new products – from personal desktop devices to the specialized meeting rooms equipped with screens and providing effect of presence – allows to make video communications more available to the enterprises and the organizations of different scale. Use for video transmission of considerably smaller bandwidth provides almost triple reduction of cost of operation in comparison with competitive solutions.
Use as a basis of a new solution package of Avaya Aura™ based on the SIP protocol of the first (Session Initiation Protocol) platform does the organization of video calls and video conferences the same idle time as commission of normal phone call, and for the organization of all types of communication the same platform is used. The enterprises have an opportunity to integrate a real time video into the core infrastructure of Avaya Aura, and, thanks to it, to reduce costs for communication, at the same time significantly having increased quality of management of production processes and the service level of clients. At the same time for use of video there is no need to build additional network, it is enough to install the user devices having the corresponding functionality.

The solution Avaya Flare Experience allows to integrate communication tools using the special interface which provides quick and simple access to opportunities of use of a voice and video, social networks, function of indication of presence, instant messages, audio/video / veb-konferentsy, viewing different directories, the history of interaction and some other options using the PC. The user has an opportunity to keep track of the status of communicating process and also to initiate a communication session simple movement of one or several contacts from a directory to the special area. For writing of the text message it is only necessary to click the corresponding button under the photo of contact, and the special keyboard for text typing appears. Developed on the basis of the Android™ operating system, the solution Avaya Flare Experience provides to users:
- The intuitive user interface which allows to perform communications in any mode, to check messages, to plan and make appointment, to receive reminders
- Possibility of the organization voice and video of calls and conferences simple "moving" of expected participants to appropriate section; simultaneous use of the additional voice line, e-mail or instant messages and also you an exit from a conference without its termination.
- The virtual organizer providing a possibility of simultaneous viewing a set of different directories, both corporate, and personal, such as Facebook, Twitter and others. The user finds necessary contact with which he wants to establish connection, defines degree of its availability by a presence status, selects a preferable method of communication and starts connection
- Possibility of downloading of different applications and tools based on Android OS which number constantly grows
The solution Avaya Flare Experience is delivered as a part of Avaya Desktop Video Device, but will already be shortly available also to other devices, such as desktop computers, notebooks, tablets and smartphones.
Avaya Desktop Video Device was developed especially for Avaya Flare Experience as the available user device with support of video for heads or employees with intensive information loading. It has the touch screen of 11.6 inches in size, the built-in 720-pixel camera, supports acceptance and transfer of a high-quality sound. The possibility of mobile use of the device is provided with support of the SIP protocol, existence of the WiFi-module, USB connector for connection of the additional keyboard and the headset, the 3G/4G-modem or the external drive. The subsequent versions will provide a possibility of remote access through VPN connection or 4G.
Avaya Flare Experience for desktop phones of the Avaya 96x1 series provides a voice communication, abilities to manage with a conference, instant messagings, indications of a presence status and also integration with Microsoft Outlook for contact management. All this gives to users the chance to use a chat during phone conversation or to find necessary contacts from different sources.
Avaya Collaboration Server integrates all key Avaya Aura 6.0 functions on one server. It allows the organizations to use all advantages of the solutions Avaya Flare Experience, Avaya Desktop Video Device and Avaya Video Conferencing on the basis of the existing multivendor systems supporting the H.323 and SIP protocols or to develop own systems with a capacity up to 50 subscribers.
The solutions Avaya Video Conferencing can be used by both certain users, and user groups in the special conference rooms equipped with the screens providing effect of presence. They can be unrolled with any environment with the central office exercised using Avaya Aura. It provides control of bandwidth and saves from need to develop additional network. The solutions Avaya one-X® Communicator Desktop, Avaya Video Systems (1010, 1020, 1030, 1040, 1050) for the working groups and Avaya Videoconferencing Manager 6.0 are a part of a line.
