2019: Description
Wonderware Russia on March 13, 2019 announced the launch of PRiSM software for predictive analysis of the state of equipment from Wonderware by Aveva, which is part of the Wonderware APM (Asset Performance Management) solution, to the Russian market.
Transition from traditional maintenance to proactive maintenance
Target equipment:
- Transformers.
- Generators.
- Distribution cells.
According to ARC research, only 18% of failures are caused by wear and tear. Based on this, preventive maintenance benefits only in 18% of cases. Forecast-based maintenance is recommended to prevent other damage, noted Wonderware.
Predictive analytics allows customers to organize the maintenance process using the integration and combination of smart assets, sensors, communications, and software and predictive approach.
Monitoring Equipment Status
Thermal condition monitoring of transformer equipment:
- control of oil upper and lower layers temperature;
- temperature control of the most heated winding;
- determination of multiplicity and duration of permissible overloads, etc.
Receiving information from sensors and secondary transducers:
- gas content in oil;
- moisture content in oil;
- oil flow in coolers, etc.
Control of main directions determining reliability:
- condition of transformer cooling system;
- state of oil filled inlets;
- state of windings and internal insulation of transformers;
- the state of the oil and its protection against humidification and oxidation;
- condition of relay protection devices, automation and measuring instruments;
- state of transformers VSD devices.
Predictive Hardware Analysis Software PRiSM
- Software based on hardware modeling, using rules and best practices for pattern recognition.
- Using Historical Data to Describe Normal Equipment Operation and Model Building
- Continuous real-time monitoring of equipment behavior
- Signalling in cases where the indicators differ from the historical norm
- Early identification of problems in operation of units
- Advanced analysis capabilities, including troubleshooting
Solution Architecture
The ability to use both locally installed software and a cloud-based solution with ready-made analytics tools. When using a cloud solution - minimization/optimization of costs, ease of implementation of pilot projects.
