Axis Camera Management 3.10

The Axis Communications company released in the fall of 2012 advanced version 3.10 of software of Camera Management – the solution for installation and management of a network video equipment of Axis. The program supports central office by the cameras Axis in systems consisting of one or several devices, allowing installers of security aids and system administrators to use applications on several cameras and to manage at the same time network video cameras.

Software of Axis Camera Management can be adapted for work with thousands of network cameras and Axis video coders and provides an ability to manage with all cameras from one centralized point. It is created on the basis of standard network protocols and methods and has the intuitive user interface.

The program is capable to detect automatically cameras and other Axis video devices in network and to appoint the IP addresses, to configure a set of devices and to display their status of connection. The program automatically provides information on the latest version of the built-in software for simplification of service of devices and carries out loading and distribution of upgraded versions to the corresponding devices. To users well consecutive or parallel updating of the built-in software of broad range of network video devices.

In version 3.10 Axis Camera Management also supports the open platform of the Axis Camera Application Platform applications allowing to set and registrate the applications developed by the third parties for the selected network cameras and Axis video coders.

The new version replaces the version of Axis Camera Management 2.00 and is compatible to all Axis video devices equipped with versions of the built-in software 4.40 and above.
