Axis Object Analytics is the intellectual application for video analytics using the artificial intelligence (AI) based on deep learning.

2021: Announcement of Axis Object Analytics

The Axis Communications company submitted on January 15, 2021 the intellectual application for video analytics of Axis Object Analytics. The application is suitable for the systems of protection of public buildings, warehouses, parkings and other objects. It will be preset on the cameras functioning based on deep learning with a firmware 10.3 and later versions that will allow to increase functionality of cameras without additional hardware and excess costs.

The simple application interface allows to configure easily individual scenarios of video surveillance, having selected conditions of start of the analysis of video. For example, the analysis of video begins when any object (the person or the vehicle) enters a zone of observation or crosses the set virtual border. Thanks to intellectual algorithms the application is capable to ignore objects most of which often become the reason of false signals – for example, plants which wave on wind, or the shadows which are quickly moving on the ground.

In the Axis Object Analytics application data processing happens in the shortest possible time, requirements to bandwidth and volume of disk space for data storage are reduced, noted in Axis. If necessary the application is integrated with an event management system and other network solutions.
