2019: Release on the market
On July 11, 2019 the Microsoft corporation announced the market of the Azure Lighthouse system by means of which integrators can manage Azure-projects an output, developed at the clients.
Azure Lighthouse provides to partners a uniform panel of monitoring and management of Azure in scales of all customer base. A system is integrated with portals of integrators, management tools IT services (ITSM) and monitoring, helping suppliers to control and manage work of Azure services at customers.
The technology is based on the delegated Azure resource management that allows the companies to transfer permissions to the corresponding suppliers and to execute transactions from their name. It concerns, for example, subscriptions, groups and separate resources.
As the corporate vice president of Azure Compute Erin Chapple when clients provide resources to certain suppliers explained in the blog, the last can expand, in turn, access to users or accounts within the set restrictions, using access on the basis of the mechanism of roles Azure.
The similar model provides optimization of the platform, increasing the level of its automation and efficiency that, in turn, guarantees to users additional transparency and security, the press release says.
Microsoft notes that the company for the first time developed the solution of similar scale together with partners for satisfaction of their needs.
Along with Azure Lighthouse the AMP program (Azure Migration Program) which helps users to accelerate process of transition to Azure was started. AMP provides pro-active recommendations and tools for elimination of risks and the solution of the widespread problems connected with transfer of workloads in a cloud.[1]
