Integration with VMware NSX SD-WAN by VeloCloud
The company VMware announced on September 28, 2018 integration VMware NSX SD-WAN by VeloCloud with Microsoft Azure Virtual WAN. Now the customers using resources Azure will be able to provide the simple automated and high-performance connection of branch networks. The integrated solution expands opportunities for connection of the loadings let in Azure with the help VMware NSX SD-WAN and VMware NSX Data Center, and provides steady safe connection of branches with Azure, noted in the company. In more detail here.
Citrix SD-WAN для Azure Virtual WAN
On July 19, 2018 Citrix and Microsoft were announced the joint partner solution Citrix SD-WAN within a cloud platform of Azure for Azure Virtual WAN service. The joint solution is intended to increase comfort and performance of work of users, to automate tasks of deployment of branch networks of the companies of customers.
Citrix SD-WAN provides the complete solution for access from each branch of the company to Microsoft Azure Virtual WAN Service. Citrix SD-WAN increases work speed, reduces costs of branches and expenses on remote connection and also enhances information security at the level of applications and networks due to consolidation in one solution of functions of the choice of a route in real time at the level of data packets, optimization of WAN, function of the gateway of security, routing and the analysis of applications, noted in Citrix.
Citrix SD-WAN and Microsoft Azure Virtual WAN can deploy in the form of a full-fledged complex of the SD-WAN services which together work more effectively. The complex can work as independent service SD-WAN or as the managed cloud service with the built-in functions of automation which simplify deployment both small networks in points of sale, and large-scale branch networks of the companies.
According to the statement of developers, integration of Azure Resource Center and Citrix SD-WAN Center allows to execute automatic information exchange between the head systems based on Azure and local devices based on SD-WAN. It allows to exercise the related control network to politicians with functions of the profound analysis of use of connections. Besides, Citrix SD-WAN simplifies large-scale expansion of networks due to support of function of cloning on the basis of templates.
The global private network of Microsoft corporation within the Azure platform increases the speed of content delivery and applications at the expense of the optimized routing that increases the level of satisfaction of users and performance of their work, consider in Microsoft.
Announcement of Azure Virtual WAN
The Microsoft corporation continues to expand network infrastructure of Azure Global Network and its intellectual opportunities customers and partners could adapt the networks and security systems to cloud model. On July 17, 2018 the company presented the solution Azure Virtual WAN (wide-area network, network of a wide scope).
Virtual WAN allows customers to provide seamless connection of branches of the enterprise to each other and to Azure, using Internet connection of "the last mile", implementing thus the distributed connection model. It also allows customers to create star topology of network in Azure to simplify routing of traffic to virtual modules, such as firewalls (firewall) and network services of security of Azure.
Azure Virtual WAN provides mechanisms for connection of traditional user routers on places and also expansions of an ecosystem of the program configured WAN systems (Software-Defined WAN, SD-WAN) from Microsoft partners. [1]
