2013: Control-M release
On October 2, 2013 BMC Software announced release of the module Control-M for Hadoop process management.
The packet of Control-M was created for mainframes, but now supports management of work of many corporate applications DBMS, ERP- systems on the majority of platforms, including Linux, Unix and Microsoft Windows.
Description
The module BMC Control-M simplifies and automates batch processing of applications for Hadoop. The built-in integration with Hadoop and corporate applications does it to lungs for use during creation of workflows, joint work over them, planning and management of large volumes of business applications.
Integration with Pig, Scoop, Hive and MapReduce, Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS), simplifies process of creation of workflows for applications of Hadoop, accelerating their creation and increasing quality. The solution has monitors and managements of Hadoop workflows, uses possibilities of predictive analytics and the automated notifications, the system of early detection of problems and mechanisms of adoption of fast solutions for assistance in timely representation of analytics from Big Data. Being integrated into structure of the enterprise, workloads and the connected Hadoop applications, platforms and data are easily controlled, promoting timely delivery of service.
