BPCord (Business Process Coordinator) is the web based product of new generation constructed on the principles of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), intended for business process management and creation of the flexible, scalable, process focused information systems of the companies.

BPCord is the tool which allows to encapsulate within information technologies set of knowledge of managers of the company of an order of functioning of processes, the relations in collective and methods of communications between employees.

BPCord is not just design and execution of processes which provide the most effective achievement of effective objectives in space of metrics — tasks, resources, time, it also process management in human measurement. People who are also an essence and the main resource of any business, using means of BPCord, can define what is done by an information system, and they can define it in a simple language in terms of the human tasks which they and should solve in the daily work.

The majority of systems offer the only business process model which it is possible to call "algorithmic model". In this model business process is described (or in special language, or by means of a graphic notation) as the determined sequence of tasks and patterns of management. At the same time, management of course of execution of such algorithm is assigned to the specialized automatic machine (Workflow Engine).

Certainly, the algorithmic model is good for management of the settled, regularly repeating processes on which influence of external factors or is absent, or is extremely insignificant. In this case the business analyst can really provide all possible options of succession of events and design the scheme of business process (algorithm) so that process adequately reacted to each possible situation.

Unfortunately, in real life everything is much more difficult, and the attempt to describe all processes of the company based on algorithmic model very often comes to an end with failure.

It is obvious that at least, all project processes do not keep within algorithmic model. Do not keep within it and processes which, as a rule, develop on a standard algorithm, but in case of unpredictable events begin to be controlled the person. Single instructions to employees from heads and personal tasks are also not implemented in algorithmic model.

Today MS Project is the most popular product for project management. Integration with MS Office Project 2007 does BPCord by the unique solution on the functionality — the uniform portal capable to manage as the business processes described in the WorkFlow model and the business processes described by means of MS Office Project 2007 (Project model). Sharing of BPCord and MS Office Project 2007 allows the company to manage most effectively the projects, at the same time using advantages of WorkFlow and Project.
