Version 2.0

In May, 2012 Samsung submitted the bada 2.0 platform which opens for users the mass of new opportunities, including:

• multitasking,
• the updated Samsung TouchWiz interface and
• advanced logic of management.

One of the main innovations are the configured blocking of the screen, a possibility of individualization of the interface of the platform and also support of volume sounding. In the second version of the platform from Samsung support of HTML5 is implemented and work with many functions of Flash technology is improved.

Important feature of the bada 2.0 platform is the preset cross-platform communication service Samsung ChatON integrating all mobile users in uniform community. ChatON service, using contact information of users, allows to exchange instant messages and different content with friends: images, video files, voice messages, contacts.

One more service for communication, available on the new platform — Social Hub — integrates all contacts in the uniform sheet, turning the smartphone into the convenient message concentrator and the manager of accounts of social networks, Internet messengers and e-mail. In addition to it, users got access to a set of various applications in Samsung Apps shop which contains about twenty thousand applications for smartphones on the bada platform.

The new version of the corporate Samsung bada platform for the Samsung Wave smartphones is available to loading and installation using the Samsung Kies program at connection to the computer since May 15, 2012. Updating of the mobile platform for the Wave II smartphones will become well Russian users until the end of May, 2012.
