2022: Launch of production of radiopaque drug for 63.5 million rubles

In September 2022, the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region announced the production of Bar-VIPS radiopaque contrast agent by Vips-Med in the Fryazino urban district. About 63.5 million rubles were invested in this project.

As part of the regional support "Earth for 1 ruble," the company received a land plot in the urban district of Fryazino, where a workshop will be built for the production of this drug. The expansion of the enterprise will allow the investor to create jobs for 20 residents of the district. The company will begin work in the fourth quarter of 2022.

A radiopaque agent for the study of the gastrointestinal tract is included in the list of vital and essential drugs. The launch of the drug production workshop will allow the company to obtain a GMP certificate issued in accordance with the requirements of the EAEU, which will enable the company to enter foreign markets.

I note how much different production will be opened in the Moscow region thanks to the regional program "Earth for 1 ruble," initiated by Governor Andrei Yuryevich Vorobyov. These are industry, and the production of food products, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, industries are completely different. If we talk about the Vips-Med enterprise, it will build the production of a medical drug that has no analogues in Russia. In general, the program is aimed at three important tasks: new jobs, independence from imports and the development of the economy of our Moscow region, "said Natalya Adigamova, Minister of Property Relations of the Moscow Region.

According to SPARK-Interfax, by September 2022, Vips-Med Firm LLC was registered in Fryazino, Moscow Region in 1995. Elena Gubina owns 51% of the legal entity's shares, Valery Portnov - 20%, Marina Ilyina - 15%, Mikhail Gushchin and Anatoly Zaitsev - 7% each.^[1]
